Come on now Microsoft… I think we’ve been down this road already. I know you’re super keen to spy on people… but you gotta cut that voyeurism crap out.

If you take a moment to remember, there was a lot of concern earlier in the year when Microsoft announced the XBone’s Kinnect would be “always on”. In fact, they were off to a rocky start this year with the various things they had cooked up. The gaming community quickly rose to DEFCON 1, and Microsoft of course back peddaled like you wouldn’t believe, and did what they could to rectify their bi’ness.

I’m happy that they also took the time to further reassure us that our privacy is of the utmost importance. Oh… but… wait…
